Home Selling Process

  • Step 1. Meet Marquez Griffin

    We begin by establishing a time and date to connect in person, over the phone or remotely, where we discuss what your housing goals are and where you want to go next. We will look at current market factors and together we will come up with a strategy tailored to you.

    Marquez will send you a sellers guide which tells you more about him and the selling process as a whole!

    Once ready, we meet up together at the property to be sold where Marquez will show you ways to enhance the value so you get top dollar for it. We will also go through my seller questionnaire where I ask questions to help us get more clarity of your situation and what’s most important with selling your property. We also will touch base about my 18-Point marketing plan which will attract more buyers and contracts which may lead to a higher sales price.

    While at the property, we will discuss additional needs you may have, draft a strategic plan that’s tailored specifically to you, then go over contracts which go in detail of my job duties and what to expect next. Call/Text Marquez at (303)246-7587)

  • Step 2. List Property.

    Once the property is in the condition you want to list it at, the contracts have been signed which discuss price & terms, Marquez will pay for a professional photographer to take photos, have them create a 3D Tour of your home and begin to implement his 18-point marketing plan which will bring you more buyers and more contracts. The more contracts you have, the higher your property will sell.

    Once ready we will list your home as active or coming soon on the MLS. My job is to get as many buyers attention to view your property so your home will sell for top dollar!

    A real estate sign will be placed on the property, Marquez market your property online and/or via open house and manage all the phone calls, showings, headaches and contracts so you have a smooth transaction all the way to closing and into the next chapter in your life.

  • Step 3. Sold.

    Once all parties sign documents transferring ownership of the property at the specified date, time and location, you will receive your proceeds from selling your property and you will then be on your way!

    A good way to celebrate is a housewarming party with friends and family!

Home Buying Process

  • Step 1. Introduction.

    Once you reach out we schedule a phone call, an in person meeting or video call to discuss your real estate buying goals! During our meeting we will go over my buyer questionnaire which will go in detail of what you’re looking for in a property, what you feel comfortable paying each month and your timeline.

    You will then receive my home buyer packet which will tell you a bit about me and about the buying process as a whole.

    (Note, more often than not, buyers may not have to pay my fee! Call if you have additional questions (303) 246-7587).

  • Step 2. Pre-Approved.

    (This step is for people looking for a loan to purchase a property. If paying cash for a home you would likely skip this step).

    Once we go over your goals for purchasing a home, the next process is getting pre-approved by a lender.

    The lender analyzes your debt and income to assess how much you can get a loan for to buy property.

    At this stage, I also suggest thinking about how much you want your payment to be each month.

    (Marquez has recommendations for lenders if you don’t have a preferred lender).

  • Step 3. View Properties.

    Once we have clarity on the criteria and property type you are seeking, we will schedule to view properties in person. I will accompany you while touring homes and mention any other additional information from the listing broker.

    After you find a property that suits your needs, Marquez will help you negotiate and submit an offer. From there he will guide you along the process to closing and beyond.

    Once under contract on a property, Marquez recommends getting an inspection to bring awareness to any issues that may be associated with the property.

    (Marquez has recommendations for property inspectors if you don’t have a preferred home inspector).

  • Step 4. Move in.

    At the pre-specified time and date we will get to the closing table which likely will be at a title company office. You and the seller will sign all documents required for the sale of the property, and once complete you will get the keys and then will be on your way into your new home!

    After getting settled in, you can have a housewarming party, celebrate with friends and family to then start the next chapter of your life in your new home!
